Parking on site, location nice, service great, food very tasty starting with the greeting from the kitchen, the salad, the venison frikadelle or goulash with hash browns and the previously unknown bosch brown beer and the caraway rum nightcap. We felt comfortable all around, thank you for the nice evening.

Good food, dog welcome, very friendly people. Choice of eating / drinking outside in the Biergarten or inside the restaurant. 3 minutes walk from the Schmallenbergerhaus. You can spend a week, weekend or midweek there.

So if you want to waste your money, you've come to the right place. On the positive side: well there isn't much besides the good connection. On the negative side: the service was extremely unfriendly and you had the feeling you should leave again quickly. The order was only taken after repeated requests. Furthermore, children are not welcome there and parents can feel this immediately and directly by complaining about children playing quietly. The food is not really bad now, but I wouldn't call it particularly good either. But what is worst and why you should avoid this place is the fact that you are not welcome with children and you are generally treated badly. you can eat much better in this area.

We enjoyed this typical German inn. Delicious whey beer from the tap. Cozy space, nice staff. Delicious schnitzels for great prices. We got a cup of soup for free! The food was delicious. Some shot with the salt. Highly recommended to eat at this beautiful place in all respects.
